Kwop vs WhopMail: email marketing or follow-ups from the visit?
Kwop (kwop.io) is the one to pick if you want to know which visitors almost bought on your site and send each of them a personal follow-up written from what they did: it replays every visit, ranks hot leads and ties Whop, Stripe and Shopify payments to each visitor. Kwop (kwop.io) is not an email marketing platform, so for campaigns to your whole list, automations started by Whop events and purchases inside the email, WhopMail does that job and Kwop does not (checked on whopmail.com, 18 October 2026). Below: what each tool knows about your buyers, a side-by-side table, where WhopMail is better, and how the two fit together.
What is the difference between Kwop and WhopMail?
WhopMail sends email to people already on your list or in your Whop; Kwop watches what people do on your website and tells you who to write to. One starts from your contacts, the other starts from the visit.
WhopMail describes itself as email, automation and AI for Whop and any business. You connect a Whop and it syncs products, plans and members, then more than 20 Whop events (a member joins, a trial starts, a payment fails, a membership is canceled) can start a flow that stops when the member pays. It also syncs abandoned checkouts, sends Whop-native DMs, can place AI voice calls, and lets members with a saved card upgrade, renew or buy inside the email.
Kwop records each visit to your own site as a replay and gives every visitor a buying-intent score. The hot leads list shows people who went far, left their email on your site and did not pay. For each of them, Kwop writes a follow-up from their real visit, such as the plan they opened, the step where they stopped or a promo code that failed, and opens it in Gmail in one click. You press Send yourself.

Where WhopMail is better
If you need to email many people at once, WhopMail is the right tool and Kwop is not one.
- Broadcasts and automations. Campaigns to every contact or segment, and flows that start on Whop events and exit when the member pays, so nobody gets a discount they did not need.
- Members already on Whop. Welcome, renewal, failed-payment and win-back flows for people who already bought. Kwop's follow-ups are for people who have not paid yet.
- Buying inside the email. Upgrade, renew or add credits with one tap in Gmail and Yahoo, using the card on file.
- More channels. Whop-native DMs to a product, plan or list, and AI voice calls for promos and win-backs.
- Sending at scale. A custom domain, inbox placement tracking and an MCP server that lets Claude or Cursor build and send a campaign.
Where Kwop is different
WhopMail knows what a member did in Whop and in your emails; it does not see what a visitor did on your website before checkout. That is the part Kwop covers.
- You watch the visit. The replay shows which plan someone looked at, how long they stayed on the price, whether a button did nothing, and where they left.
- Leads before checkout. Someone who typed their email in a form on your site, compared plans twice and never clicked "Join" is a hot lead in Kwop, even if they never opened a Whop checkout.
- One personal email, not a template. Each follow-up is written from that person's visit and uses only real offers, such as an active promo code. It goes out from your own Gmail, so it reads like a note from you. Kwop tracks who clicked, came back and paid. See follow-ups and how to follow up website leads.
- Revenue per visitor. On Pro, Whop, Stripe or Shopify connect with a read-only key, and each payment is matched to the visitor who typed the same email on your site. You see which source and which page led to each sale.
- Ask your data. Kwop AI answers "who should I follow up today?" from your Kwop data, and the MCP server brings the same answers into Claude or ChatGPT.
Kwop's limits. It does not send bulk email, run automations, manage a list or a sending domain, or send Whop DMs. It does not record Whop's hosted checkout page; the payment is matched afterwards by email, so a buyer who paid with a different email is not matched. A visitor who never typed an email on your site can be watched but not followed up.
Should a Whop seller use both?
Often, yes, because they cover different moments. Kwop covers the visit before the sale; WhopMail covers the list and the members after it.
- Before the sale: Kwop shows who visited, who almost bought and why they stopped, and writes the personal follow-up for each hot lead.
- At checkout: WhopMail's abandoned-checkout flows reach people who opened a Whop checkout and left.
- After the sale: WhopMail runs welcome, renewal, failed-payment and win-back flows for members. Kwop shows which visit and source led to each payment.
If you have one budget and few visitors, start with the tool for your biggest leak: many visitors who reach your pricing and leave point to Kwop; a large list you never email points to WhopMail. Kwop's page for Whop sellers covers the Whop setup in detail.
How do you test Kwop on your site?
Paste your link on the Kwop homepage and create a free account, no card. The free website test sends a real browser through your site 3 times (a computer as if from a search engine, a phone as if from Instagram or TikTok, someone looking for your prices) and shows each visit as a replay a few minutes later. After you install the script, your first 3 real sessions are visible for free.
Disclosure: Kwop wrote this page and sells one of the two tools compared. WhopMail facts come from its own website, listed below with the date we checked them. If something changed, tell us at contact@kwop.io.
FAQ
What is WhopMail?
WhopMail is an email marketing app built for Whop: campaigns, automations started by Whop events, purchases inside the email, Whop DMs, AI voice calls and an MCP server. It also works with Shopify through its EmailSync app, or with any list you import (checked on whopmail.com, 18 October 2026).
How much does WhopMail cost?
WhopMail's pricing page lists Basic at $29.95 a month for 3,000 contacts, Starter at $59.95 for 5,600, Growth at $129.95 for 10,000, Pro at $299.95 for 30,000 and Enterprise at $599.95 for 60,000, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Its homepage offers a free trial with no credit card (checked 18 October 2026).
Does WhopMail show what visitors did on my website?
No. WhopMail tracks opens, clicks and the revenue from each email, and starts flows from Whop events such as payments, cancellations and abandoned checkouts. We found no session replay or website visit tracking on its site. Kwop records each visit to your own site and shows it as a replay.
Does Kwop send emails like WhopMail?
No. Kwop writes one follow-up email per hot lead, up to 7 per lead, and opens it in Gmail filled in; you press Send from your own inbox. It does not send campaigns, run automations or manage a sending domain.
Can I use Kwop and WhopMail together?
Yes. They do different jobs: WhopMail emails your whole list and your Whop members, and Kwop tells you which visitors almost bought and why. A Whop seller can use WhopMail for broadcasts and win-backs and Kwop for personal follow-ups to hot leads.
Do Kwop and WhopMail both have an MCP server?
Yes. WhopMail's MCP lets Claude, Cursor or any MCP client draft, schedule and send campaigns. Kwop's MCP server, on Pro, has 9 read-only tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI, such as who_to_follow_up and write_follow_up; it reads your visitors and revenue and sends nothing.
