Visitors.now alternative: when you need to watch who almost bought

By Kwop · Updated

Kwop (kwop.io) is the Visitors.now alternative to pick when counting revenue per source is no longer enough and you want to watch each visit: it records every visit as a replay, ranks the visitors who almost bought, writes a follow-up email for each one and reads Stripe, Whop and Shopify payments. Kwop (kwop.io) costs more than Visitors.now, which starts at $9 a month and has no recordings (checked on visitors.now, 18 October 2026), so if you only need light, cookie-free analytics with Stripe revenue per channel, Visitors.now is the cheaper fit. Below: what Visitors.now does well, a side-by-side table, other alternatives by job, and how to test Kwop for free.

What does Visitors.now do?

Visitors.now, which calls itself Visitors, is privacy-first web analytics with revenue attribution: it shows which sources, pages and campaigns bring in revenue, and a profile for each visitor. It is a small independent product with a script under 1 KB.

Its homepage lists realtime analytics with a live visitor globe, visitor profiles with full session history, cross-device tracking for logged-in users, funnels, custom events, Core Web Vitals and an Experience Score. Revenue comes from Stripe, Dodo Payments or RevenueCat. With Stripe, it reads the visitor ID you pass in Checkout metadata, then earlier attribution, then the payment's email. Its docs also describe a REST API for projects, metrics and profiles.

What it does not list: recordings of the screen, heatmaps, lead scoring, follow-up emails, an AI chat or an MCP server. A visitor profile tells you that someone viewed /pricing and then left; it does not show what they did on that page.

Where Visitors.now is better

For plain analytics, Visitors.now is lighter and cheaper than Kwop. Stay with it if these points matter more to you than replays.

Where Kwop goes further

Kwop shows what happened on the page and turns it into a list of people to contact. That is the step between "this source makes money" and "this person was about to pay".

Kwop's limits. No heatmaps, surveys, A/B tests, Core Web Vitals or mobile app SDK. It does not record hosted checkout pages such as Stripe Checkout, Whop or Shopify checkout; the payment is matched afterwards by email, so a buyer who used a different email is not matched.

How do you switch from Visitors.now?

You do not have to remove it. Add Kwop's script next to it, connect your payments, and compare for a week.

  1. Test first. Paste your link on the Kwop homepage and create a free account, no card. The free website test sends a real browser through your site 3 times and shows each visit as a replay a few minutes later.
  2. Install the script in the <head> of every page: <script src="https://kwop.io/flow.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" defer></script>. Your first 3 real sessions are visible for free.
  3. Connect Stripe, Whop or Shopify on Pro with a read-only key. Kwop imports the last 90 days and syncs every 10 minutes.
  4. Check privacy. Every input is masked. Add flow-mask or flow-block to hide more, and data-consent="required" to wait for your cookie banner.
  5. Decide after a week whether you still need both, then update the list of tools in your privacy policy.

FAQ

Does Visitors.now have session replay?

No recordings are listed on visitors.now or in its docs (checked 18 October 2026). It has visitor profiles with a timeline of each visitor's page views and events, which shows the path but not the screen. Kwop records each visit as a replay you can watch.

How much does Visitors.now cost?

Visitors.now prices by monthly events, which are mostly page views: $9 a month for 10,000 events, $19 for 100,000 and $29 for 300,000, with cheaper yearly billing. Every plan includes all features and unlimited websites. There is a 14-day free trial and no free plan (checked 18 October 2026).

Does Visitors.now work with Whop or Shopify?

Its docs list Stripe, Dodo Payments and RevenueCat as integrations; we found no Whop or Shopify integration (checked 18 October 2026). Kwop reads Stripe, Whop and Shopify payments on its Pro plan.

Does Visitors.now need a cookie banner?

Not by default: Visitors.now uses no cookies unless you turn on persist mode or identify users. Its Stripe docs say persist mode is required for revenue attribution and needs explicit consent for EU users. Kwop sets no cookie but stores a random visitor ID in local storage, and data-consent="required" makes it wait for your banner.

Is Visitors.now cheaper than Kwop?

Yes, for analytics alone. Visitors.now starts at $9 a month. Kwop costs more because it records replays, ranks hot leads and writes follow-up emails; if you do not need those, Visitors.now is the cheaper choice.

Can I run Kwop and Visitors.now together?

Yes. Both are one script tag and they do not conflict. Some sellers keep a light analytics tool for traffic and Web Vitals and add Kwop for replays, hot leads and follow-ups.
